Spice Girls reunion: Geri Horner shares rehearsal video with Mel B lyric amid sex claims

Geri Horner shook off the recent claims she had a romantic rendezvous with fellow Spice Girl Mel B as she dived into rehearsals for the group’s upcoming world tour.

The 46-year-old, best known as Ginger Spice, shared a video of herself practising the steps to the girl group’s iconic 1996 hit Say You’ll Be There with a choreographer.

She captioned the Instagram post: “Recognise this… Won’t you sing this with me..”

The lyric shared by Horner was famously sung by Mel B, full name Melanie Brown, and appeared to show the pair have buried the hatchet just weeks after Scary Spice claimed she slept with Horner during the band’s early years.

During her appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Brown told the host that while the girl group had “all slept in a bed together” it was “like that” with Horner.

However, a representative for Horner later clapped back at the reports branding the claims “untrue”.

In a statement to Standard Online, a representative said: “It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days.

“Geri loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie, Melanie and Victoria [Beckham]. She would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family.

“Moving forward, Geri can’t wait to see the girls and all the fans on the tour, have an amazing time with everyone, and make some new memories.”

Brown was then swarmed with reports that she had been left feeling “perplexed” at the “denials” which had supposedly led to tensions head of the Spice Girls’ summer tour, according to the Mirror.

The back-and-forth sparked speculation the shows could be in jeopardy, but representatives hit out at the “inaccurate and factually untrue” claims, confirming the tour would very much go ahead as planned.

The Spice Girls are currently expected to perform 13 shows with Morgan previously joking he “hadn’t ruined the tour”.

However, his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid mocked that he may have put a dent in any additional dates being added to the line-up.
