Spice Girls’ Emma Bunton got spicy in the studio with partner Jade Jones

Emma Bunton has revealed she was unable to keep her hands off boyfriend Jade Jones when the pair hit the studio to record their first song together.

The former Spice Girl and Jade have released a new single- a cover of the Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell classic You’re All I Need To Get By – but the 43-year-old has told Metro.co.uk that the pair got very romantic in the studio.

‘Years ago we did something with Damage but we weren’t in the booth together, but this time we were in there together and it was quite romantic,’ she laughs.

‘We were hugging and kissing and the producers were like, “can you just get a room?” So it was really special and romantic.’

The Spice Girl and her partner have been together since 2004 although were on and off for several years before.

They are parents to sons Beau, 11, and seven-year-old Tate.

Emma will release her solo album My Happy Place on 12 April.

The record will feature a series of covers of songs that have a special place in Emma’s heart.

There are also collaborations with the likes of Robbie Williams and Will Young on the record, and Emma admits the two singers were her first thought to call – or email – as they are good pals.

‘I just emailed [Robbie] and he was like “yeah I would love to!” and it was so sweet, and then Will has just been a mate of mine for years!,’ she says.

Aside from Emma’s new tunes, Spice Girls fans also don’t have long to wait until they’ll get to see the spicy gang perform as the long-awaited tour kicks off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 27 May.

It also hits Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and finally London.
