Spice Girls 2019 tour: Fans WALKED OUT and demand REFUNDS over more sound problems

Four out of five of The Spice Girls are currently on their reunion tour Spice World but have faced criticism from fans over sound issues. And now after last night’s show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, the problem still hasn’t been resolved according to audience members. Speaking with BBC Radio Wales, one fan who paid £70 for her ticket decided to leave the show 45 minutes early. Alison Powell said: “It was really, really disappointing.”

She continued: “You couldn’t hear anything they were singing. The band drowned them out. You couldn’t hear the harmonies, you couldn’t hear the words.

“When they started talking to each other and there was a bit of banter on stage, you just couldn’t hear it.

“It left us totally flat, so flat that we actually left early – about three-quarters-of-an-hour before the end.

“We weren’t the only ones leaving. People were saying they were also really disappointed.”

They added: “It was lazy and fraudulent not to fix the sound issues after the gig in Ireland went so badly. Apologise now!”

While another wrote: “What we really really want. A fucking Refund. Spice Girls reunion tour.

“A disaster, sound very very poor. Who did the sound test.

“It was a reunion, but without the spice.”

The Spice Girls’ Spice World 2019 tour continues on May 29, with the first of three nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.
