Now that the season finale of Game of Thrones has been and gone, *sob* we’re scouring all our feeds for any and every piece of GoT-related news we can get our hands on.
And as if weren’t already glued to our TV screens for Sophie Turner‘s appearance on i]The Graham Norton Show[/i] last Friday, the actress went and served some seriously good entertainment to ease our withdrawal symptoms.
During her turn on the red couch, the [i]Dark Phoenix[/I] actress showcased her circus skills that she picked up in her younger years whilst training to be an aerialist, stunning her fellow X-Men castmates by casually tucking her leg behind her head.
“I suppose I’m a little bendy,” the actress explained after she’d performed her superpower move. Perhaps the understatement of the century?
The actress also opened up about her time playing Sansa Stark on the hit TV show, revealing that she regretted missing out on the classic British uni experience, i.e. throwing up in a nightclub after downing too many jagerbombs.
“I wish I’d had the university experience,” she began. “I wish I could have gone out and drunk a lot and thrown up in the middle of a club without it being photographed! But, I am happy with my Game of Thrones experience. I don’t think I missed out on too much.”
Turner also gave an insight into life on the GoT set as a young teenager, which she started filming when she was just 13-years-old.
“They [the cast] were very protective,” she continued. ‘There was one moment before a scene where Peter (Dinklage) and Conleth (Hill) were talking amongst themselves and they were swearing, and Peter was like, ‘Don’t swear in front of Sophie. She’s 14, you can’t swear’.
“Then they called, ‘action’ and the first words of the scene were a string of obscenities and expletives! It was all very strange.”
And it seems that Norton unwittingly spilled the beans on Turner’s forthcoming wedding celebrations, after tying the knot with Joe Jonas in a spontaneous Las Vegas ceremony last month.
“You are having a big party?” Norton joked, while Turner coyly responded, “Potentially.”
“Is that a secret?” the chat show host continued, while Sophie admitted, “That was a pretty good guess!”
