Sophie Turner: Game Of Thrones star suffers ‘fashion emergency’ on Emmys 2019 red carpet


Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, 23, was caught out on the red carpet at the Primetime Emmy Awards at the weekend.

The English actress, who is best-known for playing Sansa Stark in the award-winning HBO show, was posing for pictures ahead of the prestigious award ceremony when the mishap occurred.

Sophie’s stunning pink satin dress came a cropper and needed attention from her assistant while the star-studded guests continued to be snapped by photographers.

Lucky for the star, Queer Eye’s fashion expert Tan France, 36, was near by and seemingly able to help fix the problem.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, the fashion designer shared a picture with the caption: “Trying to help @sophiet with a fashion emergency.”

The picture shows the Netflix star standing in front of Sophie inspecting the damage.

Whatever the pair came up with worked a treat as the actress continued to dazzled at the Hollywood event.

During the award ceremony, newlywed Sophie took to the stage with her GOT co-stars to accept the coveted Outstanding Drama Series accolade.

The actress was also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role in the show but lost out on the night to Ozark’s Julia Garner, 25.

Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke, 32, led the Game of Thrones stars who wowed on the red carpet at the Emmys.
