It’s important to stay hygienic during the current coronavirus outbreak – and don’t Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas know it.
The Game of Thrones/Jonas Brothers power couple posed for a selfie on Sophie’s Instagram yesterday (15 March), with the pair giving a thumbs-up while in the front seats of their car.
Sophie clarified that, when it comes to coronavirus, she and her husband are not ‘f***ing around’ — with the pair both donning face masks and protective gloves in the picture.
‘Stay safe everyone,’ Sophie added.
While there has been a massive spike in sales of protective face masks following the global spread of coronavirus, the World Health Organisation say ‘you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCoV infection’.
That still hasn’t stopped a number of celebrities from donning the protective masks, with the likes of Justin Bieber, Gwyneth Paltrow and Megan McKenna all recently being spotted in public with masks on.
The coronavirus outbreak has severely hit the music industry in recent weeks, with Joe’s band The Jonas Brothers among the acts who’ve been forced to shelve their touring plans.
The band had planned a residency of shows in Las Vegas between 1-18 April, but the trio confirmed on Friday (13 March) that the gigs will no longer go ahead.
‘We are so sad to disappoint you guys, but it’s important for everyone to do what we can to keep everyone healthy,’ a statement from the band to fans read.
