OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has confirmed he will NOT evict Virgil van Dijk from his £4million mansion.
Liverpool’s centre-back has been renting the five-bedroom property in Cheshire from Man United’s new permanent manager.
But with Solskjaer set to remain in the North-West for the next three years, there was uncertainty over the Dutch defender’s housing situation.
Asked whether he had served notice on Van Dijk, Solskjaer said: “No, I haven’t we’ve got a contract there.”
Solskjaer spent nine weeks living at the Lowry Hotel after being appointed caretaker boss on December 19.
The former striker has since moved into a permanent home but will not be returning to the property he owns.
OLE’S PAD
Solskjaer’s mansion covers 3.4 acres and includes a giant rear garden as well as a front paddock with stables.
It has a media room, master bedroom with dressing room and en-suite bathroom, as well as four further bedroom.
Van Dijk has also benefited from a pool room and gym at Solskjaer’s property.
The Norwegian coach was unveiled today after being appointed United boss on a permanent basis.
