SUPERSTAR DJ Solomun will take to the decks as iconic Ibiza nightclub Pacha prepares to open its doors for the first time in two years.
The Spanish island has received the green light for the 2022 party season after two years of silence due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Writing on Instagram tonight, Solomun said: “I’m very happy about this announcement. Finally we’re back.”
The Grand Reopening Party will take place on Friday April 29 and the Bosnian-German DJ is set to play all night long.
A regular at the club, Solomun’s popular Solomun +1 parties are legendary with revellers, and he’s the perfect choice to welcome holidaymakers back.
Famed for its cherries logo, the club has been a go-to destination in Ibiza since the 1970s.
Early bird tickets for the relaunch are already sold out but pre-sale tickets are available for 60 euros per person.
Solumun released his second album Nobody Is Not Loved last year, featuring a collaboration with Hollywood star Jamie Foxx.
The DJ told the Daily Star: “I really admire Jamie – he is such an outstanding talent with a beautiful energy.”
And he said of the LP: “I had been collecting ideas and inspirations for years and slowly started to puzzle together the pieces, arrange the order in a way that creates a flow and is connected, and in doing so, ultimately shaping an album that tells a story.”
As well as making his own uplifting music, Solmun has produced some of the biggest names in music from Depeche Mode and and Interpol.
