Smyths Toys is giving away FREE Lego on Saturday to celebrate the launch of new Star Wars and Marvel Avengers sets

YES you did read that correctly – this weekend, all Smyths Toys Superstores nationwide are giving away free LEGO.

In celebration of the new Star Wars and Marvel Avengers sets, the stores will be hosting a giveaway from 9am.

The free toys will be available throughout the morning on Saturday May 4, while stocks last.

While the giveaway is in celebration of the new sets, it also coincides with the brand’s latest Harry Potter LEGO, including Knight Bus, Hogwarts clock tower and the Triwizard Tournament set.

The freebies are limited to one per child, with full details on the Smyths Toys website.

And some stores across the UK – as well as Northern Ireland – will also host some very special LEGO and Star Wars characters.

• LEGO Emmet will be at the Bristol store
• LEGO Lucy is going to make a special appearance at the Edinburgh store
• Stormtrooper and Commander Versio will both be visiting Rayleigh Weir
• Special-Ops Trooper and Stormtrooper will be at Tamworth
• Two Stormtroopers will visit the Ashford, Luton and Milton Keynes stores
• Imperial Gunner will make an appearance at Sheffield
• X-Wing and Luke Skywalker will be at Team Valley Gateshead
• X-Wing will also visit Leeds Crown Point
• A Stormtrooper will make a special appearance at Walsall
• In Salford, two Mandalorians will visit
