Simon Cowell is set to add a pool to his £15million mansion,
as the music mogul is planning a major refurb of his home.

The Syco boss, 60, snapped up the luxury estate in London’s
Wimbledon for £15.2million in 2018, and this will be the first time he’s done
works on the lavish pad.

Simon’s seven-bedroom home is set to get changing rooms and
what we can only assume is a heated outdoor pool in the garden, as well as a
state of the art security system to make sure the family are protected at all
times.

According to The Sun, the plans will also see the sunroom
extended by 6.2 square metres in order to make the house more family-friendly.

It’s said he has decided to do the renovations with his son
Eric and girlfriend Lauren Silverman in mind.

Some less glamorous but equally as important improvements
Simon will be doing is revamping the windows and adding new bins and bike
storage on the grounds.

Simon and Lauren had reportedly bought the house in
Wimbledon after scouting out a list of top schools Eric could attend nearby,
after deciding he would be educated in the UK rather than the USA.

He also opened up about his concerns about coronavirus and
how he and Eric will definitely be wearing masks throughout the outbreak.

He told Dan Wootton on talkRADIO: ‘I am terrified about it.
I have worn masks for ages. When I cycle around town I wear a mask.

‘[We will] 100 per cent be wearing masks.’

Simon added that he didn’t envy the people who were
quarantined on cruise ships at the start of the outbreak, adding: ‘I wouldn’t
want to be on a cruise ship right now. Those people stuck on that cruise
ship.

‘Why they haven’t taken them off and put them in a proper hospital is unbelievable. That’s somewhere I wouldn’t go.’
