A MUM was left red faced after she opened a box of hand-me-down clothes from a neighbour – only to find two vibrators in it.
The woman explained she and her husband had moved into their new house around a year ago, and she’d become pally with one of their neighbours.

She said they’d “have coffee once a week” and chat about everyday things, but “nothing too deep” and they “didn’t go out socially”.
After having her son 12 weeks ago, she said the fellow mum had been a “great help”.
Recently she popped round with a big bin liner of clothes her son had outgrown.
She said: “She told me to throw out anything I didn’t want – said she hadn’t been through the bag since packing it away when he outgrew the clothes and said, just give them all a wash and keep what you want.

“No problem so far..
“Until I emptied the bag and amongst the piles of clothes there were 2
vibrators.
“No boxes or bags, just there in amongst the clothes…”
The mum was horrified, but now she’s not sure whether to
give them back or throw them away and pretend it never happened.
She added: “I’m not bothered about the vibrations per se… I just have no idea what to do now.
“My DH says I should just give them back, bold as brass but I’m in the camp of throwing out and pretending I never saw them (and hope that she never realises what’s happened and never asks about them!!!) I don’t feel that close to her to bring this up!!!”
She’s received hundreds of replies after posting her dilemma to Mumsnet, where people have had a mixed response.

Another suggested: “I’d just say I’d found a couple of non clothing items in the bag & give them back wrapped up.”

Meanwhile this person suggested: “Or text her and tell her you got such a fright due to the two dead rabbits in the bags.”
Someone else thought: “Perhaps they were a gift for you?”
