Shania Twain leaves This Morning fans baffled as she sings with her HORSE

Shania Twain left This Morning viewers baffled on Monday as she performed a special rendition of her hit Man! I Feel Like a Woman! alongside her horse.

The Country music legend, 54, revealed at the start of her performance that she had hoped her song would ‘lift the spirits’ and ‘bring some cheer’ to Britons amid the coronavirus pandemic.

However, many at home were left bemused by the presence of her horse, as too was host Phillip Schofield, 58, who branded the spectacle ‘weird’.

Special performance: Shania Twain left This Morning viewers baffled on Monday as she performed a special rendition of her hit Man! I Feel Like a Woman! alongside her horse

At the start of her segment, Shania was sat on top of a fence as she wished the UK well in these troubled times and told how she would ‘love to bring some cheer.’

The scene then cut to her in what appeared to be a horse stable, with the star sitting on a pile of cushions outside a stable door.

Shania donned a brown cowboy hat for the occasion, teaming it with a baggy red jumper and ripped blue jeans.

The Still The One hitmaker was joined by her horse Mimi and dog Melody for her performance, but while Melody was happy to sit quietly, Mimi had other ideas.

The horse appeared enamoured by Shania’s singing and continued to lean closer towards her face and her guitar, often blocking her out of view completely.

Ever the professional, Shania carried on regardless as she belted out an altered version of her hit 1997, which had the lyrics changed to reflect the current difficult times.

Following the performance Phil and co-host Holly Willoughby, 39, appeared bemused as they explained they didn’t know what Shania had planned.
