SEVENTEEN member Hoshi has revealed that he feels ‘possessed’ whenever he performs on stage.

In an interview with Refinery29, the popular K-Pop boyband spoke about a number of things, with their highly elaborative performances being one of them.

And when asked how it feels to dance and sing on stage, member Hoshi, who leads the group’s performance unit, responded: ‘I feel like another being enters me. It feels kind of like being possessed.

‘And it changes depending on the songs we perform.’

Whilst fellow member S.Coups also admitted that the reactions they receive from the audience can be felt ‘directly on the stage’ as they perform.

‘When we do the choreography and perform, we can feel the reactions of the audience directly on the stage,’ he said.

‘So the bliss that comes from the experience is great, fun, and fresh every performance.’

The boys also spoke about the advantages of having 13 people in the group – and although that may seem like a lot of people for your typical boyband, they revealed they are able to ‘harness and channel so much energy’ through their performances with the inclusion of all these members.

SEVENTEEN also has three sub units, which allows the boys to do different styles of music and dance routines.

And the group also revealed that their music has ‘matured’ as they have grown older, having first debuted as a band in 2015.

Group member Woozi revealed: ‘When we debuted, we were four years younger than we are now. Then, we were able to emphasize and maximize the bright image that matched our age at that time.

‘Now, I think we have new possibilities, and themes that we can explore that suit who we are now.’
