Selena Gomez has basically ignored the fact she briefly got back together with ex Justin Bieber before he started dating Hailey Baldwin.

Yup, Selena threw her former boyfriend the ultimate shade and completely dismissed their November 2017 reunion by claiming she has been ‘super single’ for the last two years.

The former Disney star split from ex-boyfriend The Weeknd in October 2017 and technically hasn’t been in an official relationship since then.

Her and Biebs never confirmed rumours they were an item again, but reports claimed the pair were seen on dates together just a month after her split from The Weeknd.

And the pair only fuelled such rumours as they continued to be pictured together, looking pretty cosy, until seemingly calling it quits again in March 2018.

By July of that year, Justin was engaged to his now wife Hailey Baldwin and they married two months later at a courthouse in Manhattan.

Speaking on SiriusXM’s Zach Sang Show on Friday, Selena brushed off said Bieber reunion and declared: ‘So I’ve been super, super single for two years.’

Burn.

She then shared her thoughts on finding love again and said: ‘I want to know what that love will look like next for me. I want it to be real and I don’t want it to be co-dependent or messy or lack of communication.

‘I think, you know when you get older, you find people who are actually right for you, that are actually on the same wavelength.’

Her interview comes while Selena is promoting her new track, Lose You To Love Me – yup, the one that caused a bit of a stir as it’s thought to be about her ex Justin.

She sings about being ‘replaced’ in two months ‘like it was easy’ while also shading this ex for ‘singing off-key’ in her chorus, but hasn’t actually confirmed which of her exes inspired the song.

Selena revealed she wrote the song ‘over a year ago’ because she ‘needed’ to share her story and keep her music authentic.

Of course, fans were quick to speculate the links to Bieber and things only escalated when Hailey was accused of hitting back at Selena by posting a screenshot of the song I’ll Kill You by Summer Walker on her Instagram story.

Although, Hailey has insisted the two were definitely not related and she’s not here for all the drama.

In screenshots published by JustJared, Hailey denied the the accusation in a since-deleted comment online that read: ‘Please stop with this nonsense… there is no ‘response,’ this is complete BS.’
