Here’s a Black Friday deal you won’t want to miss if you’re a PlayStation player: right now you can save up to 34% on a year’s PlayStation Plus subscription.
By contrast, Amazon and the official PlayStation Store have only cut the price by 25%, leaving it at £37.49 – still a bargain though, in case ShopTo sells out, or you’d just rather buy it straight from the source.
The best part about this deal is that if you apply the code to an existing PlayStation Plus subscription it will simply add onto the end – so even if you still have a few months left before your next renewal, this extra 12 months will kick in after your current subscription ends, so you lost nothing by buying it now. And then it’ll be due for renewal right around this time next year… when it’ll be on sale all over again.
If you’re not already a subscriber, PlayStation Plus remains one of the best deals in gaming anyway. It gets you access to two free PS4 games every month, and now one free PS5 game too, which you can keep and play for as long as you remain a subscriber. It also lets you play PlayStation games online, and if you’re lucky enough to own a PS5 it even gets you the PlayStation Plus collection: a selection of the best PS4 games, all playable via backwards compatibility.
