Sadio Mane could be a potential injury doubt for Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Fulham after he missed Friday’s training session.

The Senegal international has been in sublime form in recent weeks with six goals in his last five appearances, including two in the 3-1 win against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Liverpool turn their focus back to the Premier League on Sunday as they travel to face Fulham, who are 13 points adrift of safety.

But Jurgen Klopp could be without Mane for the trip to west London as the 26-year-old did not take part in Friday’s session with the rest of his teammates.

Also missing from the session was Jordan Henderson, who was forced off after just 13 minutes in the win over Bayern due to an ankle injury.

Naby Keita, who was left out of the squad which travelled to Munich, also sat out of the session.

Klopp, meanwhile, has warned his Liverpool players that Fulham will be a tricky test, despite their league position.

‘This is a very important game for us. We are focused on our situation, it’s difficult but we have to see it as an opportunity,’ said Klopp.

‘Fulham are having a difficult season obviously but since Scott [Parker] has come in but you can see the change, it’s really like a breath of fresh air.

‘They lost to Chelsea, which is a difficult one for all teams in the league, and Leicester who have a new manager, but they were pretty impressive.

‘But that’s all in our books, we know all that and we have to make sure we are spot on from the opening second to win the game.’
