“If we’re doing a high school story, if you’ve ever wanted to do high school, it’s this year or bust. So, we’re really leaning into that. It’s bittersweet too.
“I think in senior year, everyone has different experiences in high school, but I do think you have this awareness like, ‘Oh, the next part of my life is about to start.’
“And on the one hand, you can’t wait for it to start and on the other hand, you don’t want to say goodbye to your friends. There’s a certain comfort in that.”
