The Let You Love Me songstress, who is currently in the middle of her Phoenix world tour, appeared on the NBC Today show to perform her new single Only Want You.
Dressed in a skimpy purple top and matching short skirt, the chart-topper proudly flaunted her gym-honed frame.
Beaming away, Rita looked preened to perfection as she belated out the track.
Oozing sex appeal, the 28-year-old flashed her supermodel-worthy pins, accentuated by chunky heels.
Chatting to show hosts after her current global trek, Rita said: “It is my first international world tour so we hit Asia and markets I had never been to outside of the main cities like Tokyo and it’s crazy.
“I can’t explain it. First of all they are quiet when you sing out of respect and then afterwords they scream. It is amazing to see.”
After finally realising her second album last year, Rita admitted she thought she was never going to be able to put out music again after clashing with her former record label Roc Nation.
The blonde beauty said: “I have been through so much s*** to put this album out.

“I thought ‘oh my god shall I just give up and wrap it up’?
“Then I remembered something… I was like ‘I don’t know what else I can do.’
“I remember feeling really low and feeling that everything was over.”

In a bid to keep her star shining while her music career was on hold, Rita worked relentlessly to turn herself into a brand.
During her music downtime, Rita took over from Tyra Banks to host America’s Next Top Model and bagged the role of Mia Grey in the Fifty Shades Of Grey film trilogy.
Rita added: “I know it didn’t look like that from the outside as I was doing lots of stuff, but on the inside I was extremely lonely.
“I felt extremely worthless. I felt like a piece of poo.
“I didn’t know what I could do if I couldn’t sing another song out in the open.”
