Rio Ferdinand, 40, and Kate Wright, 28, are said to have exchanged vows on Friday evening, with the Mayor of Marmaris, Mehmet Oktay, claiming that he officiated the ceremony in Turkey, according to reports.
The couple announced their engagement in November 2018 after two years of dating, after the professional footballer proposed to the TOWIE star in Abu Dhabi.
An onlooker told the MailOnline “It was quite the party.”
“You could hear the music and the cheering throughout the hotel. The whole pool area had been sealed off, even for us.”
Rio’s three children Lorenz, 13, Tate, and Tia, eight, were all at Friday’s ceremony, along with the couple’s other close family members.
Bride Kate is said to have invited just one of her former TOWIE castmates.
