Global esports organization ReKTGlobal Database-Link-e1521645463907, the parent company of team Rogue Database-Link-e1521645463907, announced that reggaeton producer Marco “Tainy” Masís and award-winning music executive Lex Borrero have become investors.

Rogue currently has teams that participate in Super Smash Bros. Database-Link-e1521645463907, League of Legends Database-Link-e1521645463907, FIFA Database-Link-e1521645463907, Fortnite Database-Link-e1521645463907, Rainbow Six Siege Database-Link-e1521645463907, and Rocket League Database-Link-e1521645463907.

Per the release, Masís and Borrero will use “strategic partnerships” to support the growth of ReKTGlobal and Rogue in Latin America. Both music professionals, now co-owners of Rogue, will work alongside the team’s players to create streaming content. In addition, they will build awareness for the Junior Rogue program, which educates Fortnite players under the age of 18 about esports careers.

ReKTGlobal acquired Rogue in 2018 and earlier this year closed a $10.8M USD Series A round from both new and existing investors. The funds will support Rogue’s international expansion and League of Legends European Championship (LEC) efforts.
