R KELLY has been charged with 11 new counts of sex assault against a teen victim today.
The RnB star, 52, was already charged with ten counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse earlier this year.

Court papers show he has now been charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual assault by force, two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a victim between the ages of 13 to 16, The Chicago Sun-Times reported.
The four aggravated criminal sexual assault counts carry maximum terms of 30 years in prison – making them the most serious against him.
Kelly was already facing ten counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving four women years ago – three of whom were minors when the alleged abuse occurred.
DETAILS OF THE CHARGES
The new charges appear to relate to a single victim, identified in the court filing by the initials ‘JP’, and are alleged to have happened in 2010.
One of the four women who have already accused Kelly of sex attacks was identified by the same initials in earlier court documents, but it isn’t clear if she is the same person.
Among other things, prosecutors allege Kelly used force or threatened to do so to pressure the accuser into sex or to perform oral sex on him.
She was underage at the time, extending the statute of limitations for bringing charges to 20 years from her 18th birthday, they wrote.
Kelly – who is free on a £800k bond from a previous case – is due to appear in court for the new case on June 6.
He is yet to respond to the new charges but has denied all wrongdoing in the past.
LAWYER HITS BACK
The star’s attorney, Steve Greenburg, hit back denying today’s charges are ‘new’.
He wrote on Twitter: “R Kelly was NOT charged with a new case. He was recharged in an existing case, same alleged victim and time (a decade ago) It changes nothing.
“These are the same conduct, just charged differently, same alleged victim, same time frame, same facts. We expect the same results.”
DOGGED BY CLAIMS
The ‘I believe I can Fly’ singer has faced of string of allegations of sexual misconduct in recent years.
He was acquitted in 2008 on charges of making child pornography.
R Kelly has denied recent claims he is “holding young women against their will” in a one-man “sex cult”.
Parents reportedly told police that the star, real name Robert Kelly, is keeping six young women at his properties in Atlanta and Chicago, reported Buzzfeed.
It’s alleged that they’re only allowed to use mobile phones provided by Kelly, must call him “daddy,” and can only eat, sleep or wash when he lets them.
Kelly also films their sexual encounters, the reports claimed.
One young woman Joycelyn Savage has said she is safe and “in a happy place” after her family claimed she was being held by him at a secret location in Atlanta.
She insisted to TMZ that she was fine but refused to answer if she was free to come and go.
And Jerhonda Pace claims she had underage sex with R Kelly at the age of 16 and was “trained” to please him.
She alleges the singer would “physically harm her” and “lock her in a room for days” as punishment.
He was then accused of infecting Faith Rodgers, 19, with an STD on purpose.
She was reportedly in a eight-month relationship with him after meeting him at a concert in San Antonio, Texas, and filed the lawsuit for “wilfully, deliberately and maliciously” infecting her with herpes.
Kelly has long denied all the allegations against him.
He said they have left him “heartbroken” and has criticised the media for trying to distort and destroy his legacy with claims that he sexually mistreats women.
