Perrie Edwards gave fans a glimpse inside her swanky baby shower, as she prepares to welcome her first child with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Little Mix singer announced her pregnancy last month, sharing a stunning black-and-white photo of her growing baby bump, with the England footballer, 27.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a look inside their celebrations, ahead of her due date.
In snaps shared on the 27-year-old’s story, a marquee was decorated with baby decorations and balloons – with a brown, blue and pastel peach colour scheme.
Making sure we knew exactly who the celebrations were for, one balloon was adorned with the message: ‘Baby Ox’.
The mum-to-be also showed off the fancy spread that was laid out for the day, including a sweet treats tray and four-tier cake surrounded by flower petals.
Perrie delighted fans when she confirmed her baby news in May – days after bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock shared her own pregnancy announcement.
They later cradled their bumps on the red carpet at the Brit Awards, alongside fellow Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall.
Appearing in a TikTok, the Confetti star revealed they discovered they were pregnant at the same time, in the most 2021 way possible – finding out about each other’s happy news during a work Zoom call.
Recalling the moment, Perrie said they ‘cried their eyes out’ after realising they were both going to become mums.
‘We were on a work Zoom and we were chatting about things that were coming up in our schedule because in Little Mix we are blocked out two years in advance…,’ she explained.
‘I was thinking, “I won’t be able to do that.” I messaged my manager and she called me and said, “You’re pregnant.”
‘Then she said: “Can I add someone to the call?” I just heard this voice that said: “Perrie! You too!”
‘And then we just cried our eyes out. What timing!’
