Pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh undergoes maternity make-over 

Essex girls are renowned for their love of all things glam, including heavy make-up, deep tans, glitzy outfits and bouncy hairdos. 

And Lucy Mecklenburgh was staying true to her roots during a recent makeover as she collaborated with Argos to try out a series of beauty products.

The pregnant star, 28, looked sensational as she was done up with a sizzling smokey eye before her short tresses were clipped back in a trendy style.

Lucy, who is expecting her first child with actor beau Ryan Thomas, looked stunning in the shots as she underwent the dazzling make-up. 

The mum-to-be was radiant in bang on trend styles from Kendall Jenner hairstylist Dominic Seeley. 

She went from fresh-faced to boasting a bronze eyeshadow and sleek of taupe lipstick while her brunette tresses were in sleek waves. 

Her makeover comes after Lucy clashed with her husband-to-be over whether the couple should have another child after the birth of their son next year.

The couple were responding to fans’ questions on Instagram Stories when Lucy asked her beau ‘how many children do you think you’ll have?’ on Friday.

Ryan walked around the kitchen as he slowly considered his answer, eventually he replied: ‘Well we got one. One on the way.’

He then pointed at his future wife and said: ‘And then we’re done.’ A shocked Lucy shouted out in opposition as her matter-of-fact partner fiddled with a can on the worktop. ‘Noooo,’ she cried. ‘You don’t mean that.’

But a stone-faced Ryan appeared to mean exactly what he had said, as he insisted: ‘We’re done darling.’ The clip was captioned with a light-hearted: ‘Still open for discussion,’ with a crying laugh emoji.

Earlier in the Q&A Lucy filmed the pair’s workout and responded to a fan who asked about whether she knew she was pregnant during her engagement party in July.

‘Yes…’ the star replied, ‘Even with the sickness I had the best time.’ Alongside the answer she posted a photo of her during the boat party, with London’s Tower Bridge setting the scene behind her.  

The fitness guru announced her pregnancy in August, after she and Ryan got engaged during a trip to Italy’s Amalfi Coast in June.
