Power theories: Breeze’s sister revealed after Ghost's death in huge Book II twist?

Ghost (played by Omari Hardwick) referenced his former business partner Breeze several times throughout the six seasons of Power but viewers never got to see who he was or what their relationship was like. The most fans got was hearing Ghost gave Breeze one last chance before shooting him in the back of the head.

This moment was referenced by Tariq St Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr) when he shot his father, Ghost, in his nightclub Truth.

He told his dad he was standing in the way of his future in the same way Breeze had stood in the way of his.

For a long time, viewers were certain Breeze’s death may have something to do with Ghost’s shooting before it was revealed it was Tariq who pulled the trigger.

However, with four spin-offs planned, could one finally reveal who Breeze is and his connection to Ghost?

Well, it seems as though Power Book II: Ghost could be the one to do so.

The spin-off will follow Tariq presumably following Ghost’s death and his time at college, however, it will also star Mary J Blige as Monet also in a leading role.

Fans have been given a first look at Monet, who is dressed super smart in a chic tie-waist white coast with a leopard print top underneath.

She can be seen with her on-screen daughter Diana (LaToya Tonodoe) who she appears to be issuing a warning to.

She added: “We always said Ghost was a bookish kid who read all the time.

“This woman’s acumen comes from the street.”

Meanwhile, actor Michael who starred as Tariq has remained tight-lipped on what fans can expect from the spin-off.

He told Entertainment Weekly: “Oh yeah. They’ve got something in the works, but we will see what’s going on. I’m excited.”

Speaking about Tariq’s future, he continued: “Well, he’s got to make money, so he’s going to be on the grind. “He’s definitely going to be focused on trying to help his mom and her situation.

“But I feel like Tariq is going to do whatever he needs to do.

“Also, he has help grandma and his little sister, so he’ll do anything to take care of them. Tariq is going to be grinding a lot.”

Power is available to stream on Starz and Netflix now.
