With many of them saying they’d like to buy it for their children.

One said: “I got this for my daughter two years ago and it’s fab mine…”

The lamp, which costs £5, has twelve different colour settings and is operated by remote control or via a timer.

You’ll need three AAA batteries to get it glowing.

Poundland confirmed that the lamp is available in 470 of its 500 branches, find your nearest one using its website.

It is advisable to phone your local branch before heading there to avoid disappointment, as stock may be limited.

The discount shop started selling items costing between 50p and £5 in November last year, despite keeping it name the same.

The lamp looks similar to one sold by Amazon that costs £27.

While B&M shoppers went back for the night light for your loo back in 2017.
