Having finally decided on a name for their baby girl, Peter Andre and his wife, Emily, have revealed the meaning behind it.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 51, became a dad for the fifth time in April when Emily, 34, gave birth to their third child together.
However, it took them weeks to decide on a moniker, with the couple even asking fans for suggestions via social media.
Eventually, they managed to agree and named their beautiful baby girl Arabella Rose Andréa after ‘lots of deliberation’.
Now, Peter has shared that ‘Arabella Rose’ was inspired by the pet name they had for their eldest daughter, Millie, in the weeks after she was born.
The Aussie pop star and NHS doctor already had 10-year-old daughter Amelia and six-year-old son Theo, while Peter has son Junior, 18, and 16-year-old daughter Princess with his ex-wife Katie Price.
Writing in his latest column for OK! Magazine, he penned: ‘A couple of weeks ago I told Emily it was her turn to choose a baby name since she’d brought our baby into the world.
‘Emily wanted us to decide together, but when she suggested the name Arabella Rose, I instantly thought, “That’s so beautiful”.’
Peter went on to share the precious nickname they will give their newborn.
‘I suppose we’ll call her Bella or Belle for short,’ he said.
‘Her name suits her perfectly and Rose is what we initially called Millie for the first few weeks.’
‘Our family feels complete,’ the I’m A Celebrity star concluded lovingly.
When revealing Arabella Rose’s name for the first time, Emily wrote on Instagram: ‘It’s taken a while but after lots of deliberation we’ve finally decided. Arabella Rose Andréa.’
Over on his page, Peter added: ‘I think you’ve chosen a beautiful name @dr_emily_official Arabella Rose Andréa I LOVE it. 🥰 and I love her.. and you of course:).’
It came after the couple admitted they had been considering a Welsh name, and particularly loved Seren.
On their name indecision, Peter also confessed: ‘Honestly, I had one of my cousins ring me going, “Have you got a name but you’re just not telling anyone?” I said, “No, literally.” Really, this happened with my daughter Millie.
‘We called her Rose until we had to register her six weeks later, and then we realised Rose didn’t suit her.’
He also told OK! Magazine two weeks after Arabella was born: ‘We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy! Anytime Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside.
‘She is recovering, after all, so I totally get it.’
When initially announcing the birth of Arabella Rose, Peter shared a picture of her ‘just minutes old’.
‘We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family,’ he penned online.
‘Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy.
‘Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier.’
He proceeded to thank ‘all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton’ who were ‘incredible’, as well as Emily’s parents.
