Peter Andre has shared his congratulations with new dad Ant McPartlin after he welcomed his first child – and shared a star-studded prediction for the youngster’s future.
Both of the TV personalities have recently had new additions in their households, with I’m A Celebrity winner Peter, 51, and his wife Emily’s daughter Arabella arriving on April 2.
Saturday Night Takeaway host Ant, 48, and wife Anne-Marie Corbett became proud parents to son Wilder on May 14, sharing the news in a touching Instagram post.
The couple, who wed in 2021, have been inundated with support and congratulations from their loved ones, with Peter offering some words of wisdom on the topic of raising children.
Peter – who shares son Junior, 18, and 16-year-old daughter Princess with his ex-wife Katie Price, and nine-year-old daughter Amelia and son Theo, six, with Emily – shared his own message of support for the family.
‘I hear congratulations are in order for Ant McPartlin and his wife Anne-Marie who recently welcomed a baby boy, Wilder – cool name,’ he told OK! magazine.
‘Welcome to the dad club – it’s a beautiful thing. His best pal Dec also had a baby boy two years ago… Maybe they’ll set them up as the next generation of Ant and Dec?’
We can only hope for such a thing, following the end of the duo’s celebrated Saturday Night Takeaway last month as the presenters focus on raising their children.
After keeping much of their pregnancy private, Ant and Anne-Marie announced Wilder’s arrival in a touching black-and-white photo that gave fans a glimpse of the baby.
The sweet picture saw Ant cuddling his bundle of joy and revealing a family tree tattoo, with the names of his two stepdaughters on either side and their dogs, Milo and Bumble.
He wrote: ‘Welcome to the family Wilder Patrick McPartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am.
‘Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!’
It comes after Peter and Emily finally settled on a name for their newborn daughter following weeks of uncertainty and disagreements.
‘It’s taken a while but after lots of deliberation we’ve finally decided. Arabella Rose Andréa,’ Emily wrote on Instagram on Thursday, alongside some sweet pictures of the tiny tot.
Over on his page, Peter added: ‘I think you’ve chosen a beautiful name @dr_emily_official Arabella Rose Andréa I LOVE it. 🥰 and I love her.. and you of course:).’
