Pete Davidson was forced to foot Kanye and Timothee Chalamet’s dinner bill

Ahh, to be the who’s who of Hollywood.

Pete Davidsons spot on Saturday Night Live has elevated him on the Hollywood social ladder – but it’s not without its setbacks – and this one came in the form of Kanye West joining him and Kid Cudi for a spot of expensive sushi.

The comedian, whose high profile romance with Ariana Grande and now Kate Beckinsale is the talk of the town, recently revealed that even the rich aren’t exempt from the awkward ‘who pays?’ moment of a group dinner.

It all started when Pete, 25, took his mate Kid Cudi out for his 35th birthday (which happened on 31 January) to the famous Japanese restaurant Nobu in Malibu.

Celebs often eat at the pricey restaurant, and now was no different.

It wasn’t long before Kanye spotted the pair and decided to join the dinner with his wife Kim Kardashian. And then Oscar-nominated actor Timothy Chalamet hopped on the sushi bus, too.

Pete, who had put his bank card down to pay, had to foot the entire bill. Eish.

During a Vanity Fair Q and A with Machine Gun Kelly, Pete joked that he had no idea he was going to host Kanye’s night out.

Pete told Kelly: ‘[Kanye] kept ordering the whole entire time and I didn’t know he was coming and I already put my card down to pay because I thought it would be just me and Cudi.

‘Then, Chalamet showed up and then Kanye showed up and I was like, “Oh, f***” and then I had to book two more gigs in Ohio.’

Soo, what did Kanye order, anyway? ‘A bunch of rich people stuff,’ Pete revealed.

He also talked about Kanye’s bizarre attitude, which was ‘order the f***king everything because I can and then we all have one bite, maybe…because f*** you…guy.’

Oh dear.

Kim Kardashian immortalised the weird dinner in a photo she posted on Twitter back in January, and wrote simply, ‘Happy Birthday @KidCudi.’

Kim later went on to explain on The Tonight Show: ‘It was Kid Cudi’s birthday, and we went to Nobu and when I got there I realised it was, like, a guys’ dinner. So I was like, OK.

‘I honestly… posted this and I didn’t even tag anyone. I got more DMs from my friends — from my gay friends, from my straight friends, everyone — asking me about Timothee and Pete.’

That’s the most Hollywood thing ever.
