PE with Joe on YouTube start time: What time are Joe Wicks' PE lessons?


Millions of viewers have begun tuning in for the new YouTube series PE With Joe, which provides home workouts aimed at children. Express.co.uk has rounded up everything you need to know about what time these are on and how you can tune in with your family.

What time are Joe Wicks’ PE lessons on YouTube?

Schools across the UK have had to close following fears over the outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19.

This has meant many parents are currently homeschooling their children in lieu of their usual lessons.

Celebrity fitness instructor Joe Wicks is attempting to make this a little easier on parents with the launch of his own PE lessons.

He is inviting children and their parents to tune in for a home workout every weekday on YouTube in order to help them keep fit in these uncertain times.

Wicks will be live every morning from 9am on his YouTube channel The Body Coach TV with a new workout.

Each morning he will be hosting a 30-minute fun workout to help children keep moving.

After the workout airs live on the channel, viewers will also be able to find it on his channel available to access at any time.

Parents who have the YouTube app installed on their Smart TVs or game consoles will also be able load the workout on their televisions straight into their living rooms.

Who is Joe Wicks?

Joe Wicks is well-known for his brand The Body Coach and is a fitness presenter and author.

He became popular for his High Intensity Interval Training workouts, which he used to help people get fit.

As well as this, he is the author of the best-selling cooking book Lean in 15: 15-minute meals.

He also presents the Channel 4 series The Body Coach, giving adults advice on how to get fit.

Wicks is father to an 18-month-old daughter and 3-month-old son with his wife Rosie Jones.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard about his new PE videos, he gave some insight about why he is doing this.

He said: “If we can eat healthily and exercise then we can come out of this just fine.

“It’s about kids feeling energised and happy for that half an hour.

“I want them to feel safe and not be worried about what’s going on, because it’s a confusing time for little ones.”

PE with Joe airs on his YouTube channel The Body Coach every weekday at 9am.
