Paul Pogba jumps in and gatecrashes Man Utd TV interview after shock win over PSG

Manchester United headed into the second leg of their last-16 clash with PSG 2-0 down from the first encounter.

The Red Devils knew they needed at win by two goals to stand any chance of progressing to the quarter-finals.

But two goals from Romelu Lukaku and a dramatic late Marcus Rashford strike secured the 3-3 triumph on away goals in Paris.

And – who was suspended for the match – was not going to let that stop him celebrating with his United team-mates!

Pogba had been sent off during the miserable 2-0 defeat to PSG last month.

But he had travelled and trained with the squad this week to prove his commitment to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

And he hijacked Rashford and Lukaku’s post-match press conference to celebrate with the United heroes!

Rashford was able to talk to the media and said of his penalty: “I think it was just about keeping a cool head.

“That’s what you practice for. I wanted to take it.

“Those moments are the moments we live for, and we want to come out of them smiling after.

“Everything seemed to be against us but we’re used to surviving these moments and we proved that again.

“We keep pushing and bettering ourselves.

“It’s a beautiful thing, to have 10 players injured too, but its an opportunity and it’s what they deserve.”

Lukaku himself spoke to the TV cameras and said: “Me and Marcus Rashford knew we could do the business today after playing together against Fulham.

“It was a pleasure to play with him today like that.

“We agreed to step up the press together and I told him every time he shoots I would follow the ball in.

“We just keep going – everything starts on the training ground with 5 v 5, 6 v 6 and the competitiveness starts there.

“It’s natural to us, we keep going until the referee blows the whistle.”
