PAUL GASCOIGNE has upped the ante in the surprise feud with Snoop Dogg by posting a picture of the rapper’s doggy doppelganger.
After being outed for his beleaguered appearance when battling with alcohol abuse and mental health problems, the ex-England star hit back with a hilarious dig.

Posting a photo of a mutt with a golden necklace and hair styled like the hip hop star, Gazza joked it was “walkies time”.
He tweeted: “Morning Snoop Dogg get your lazy arse out of bed it’s walkies time woof woof you ugly t*** LOVE GAZZA xxx”
Snoop received plenty of stick for highlighting Gazza’s woe in a post that attempted to show how “marijuana abuse” was less damaging than alcoholism.
In reply, the former midfielder had first posted a picture of cartoon character Snoopy, urging respect in spite of what others say about you.
He added: “Just when U thought it was safe2get out of the water f***ing snoop dog turns up [sic].”
Following his fresh rebuttal, supporters cracked up on Twitter.
One follower, Andrew, joked: “He’s done him. Take a bow wow wow son.”
Commentor Rob said: “Legend status 2.0, best comeback ever.”

The fact that Gazza has become embroiled in a bizarre row with Snoop Dogg was picked up on by others, who saw it as a strange sign of the times.
Twitter user Daniel wrote: “Well, didn’t expect to see this beef in my life time.”
Another, August, posted: “This is why Twitter was created, so that Gazza can beef with Snoop in 2019.”
