Parents are sharing how their kids got their fingers stuck in a hole at the bottom of the toy, intended as a button to open it up, restricting blood circulation.

One American mum, Kiran Malone, wrote to LOL Surprise on Facebook on Christmas Day: “Warning. My daughter got her finger stuck – pinched tightly cutting off circulation- in the LOL Glamper this morning.

“This product should be recalled or the design must be changed.

“Didn’t realize this had been happening to others until I googled it in an attempt to figure out how to get her finger.”

Another mum, Emilie Staiger, also warned about the issue on the same day.

She wrote on Facebook: “If you’ve purchased the LOL Glamper beware your child’s finger can get stuck in this ridiculous hole used to open the camper.

“After 45 minutes we were able to get her finger out. Merry Christmas!

While Camille Katerine wrote on Facebook earlier this month: “This weekend, while using the button that she was supposed to push to open up her LOL Glamper, my daughter got her thumb stuck and was unable to remove it.

“We tried for 20 minutes without luck and had to call our local EMS who were able to break the toy off from her.”

The issue’s not new, as a mum warned about it on Facebook in September already.

Chanie Zarchie Wolf, wrote: “Last week we bought a LOL glamper for our daughter for her 6th Bday.

“She got her finger stuck and we tried for over an hour to release it.

“We tried maneuvering it and then realized it was a double layer and whenever we tried to move the top layer she would scream.”

Parents are now calling for the toy to be redesigned and recalled to avoid more kids’ getting hurt.

The toys are sold by major retailers including Amazon, Argos and Smyths Toys for prices ranging from £78.49 to £85.

They come with 55 surprises, 10 hangout areas such as a pool, fashion runway, BBQ patio and DJ booth as well as one doll.

The Sun has contacted the owner of LOL Surprise, MGA Entertainment, for comment.

Last month, Argos recalled Cuggl stair gates that a two-year-old girl got her legs trapped in.

A mum has also warned about fidget spinners after her son “nearly lost eye” when practising tricks.
