ONE bloke was left in hysterics after his son brought home a very questionable children’s book from school which told the story of a woman’s “hairy beaver”.
The book titled “Brenda’s beaver needs a barber” illustrates a woman and her pet beaver enjoying some time out, but while the pictures themselves seemed completely harmless, the story itself tells a different tale – one that isn’t exactly suitable for children.
Upon first laying eyes on the children’s picture book, Stuart McLean was shocked to discover it’s content but found it too funny not to share with other parents online.
He posted pictures of the story book which tells the tale of Brenda and her beaver which the author describes as a “a big, hairy mess”.
The story goes on to say that “every guy who’s seen it says that Brenda’s beaver’s scary” – with illustrations showing men running away from the “hairy beaver”.
As the pages turn, the story continued to shock with any adult reading it left wondering how such a book actually exists considering the obvious references to a woman’s downstairs region.
The story continued to describe the mess that was Brenda’s beaver, to which her friends eventually became concerned and suggested she “clean it up” before revealing details about each of their own “pet beavers”.
The author described one character’s “beaver” as having a “landing strip”, while another was “quite rare” and was “completely bare”, before revealing it was “Brazilian”.
The hilarious story line saw her friends “trim that frumpy pile of hair”, revealing a “smooth and shiny” beaver that was “so tiny” it was “hard to recognise”.
Feeling both shocked and amused, the Dad shared pictures of the book to Facebook urging other people to “have a gander”.
The post has since spread like wild fire being shared almost 10,000 times and has racked up over 2,000 likes and almost 6,000 comments, with parents and even non-parents absolutely baffled and amused by graphic content.
Many people alerted friends and family by tagging them in the post, while others were simply left in hysterics by the content of the book and used a string of laughing emojis to reflect their amusement.
One person said: “oh my goodness, this is hilarious”
And a second person agreed: ” I laughed too hard at this”
While a third wrote: “who only their right mind thought that was a good children’s book.”
