Ovie Soko recently insisted he and Amber Gill are ‘just friends’ and fittingly, Amber was there to cheer on her basketball player pal (and fellow Love Island star) at his latest game today.
Ovie, 28, plays for the London Lions, and tonight took part in a game against the Glasgow Rocks.
The sporting extravaganza took place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Copper Box Arena.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Amber said of meeting her mate: ‘Well I thought why not, I’ve got to support my friend!’
Her show of solidarity comes after Ovie chose to clarify his and Amber’s close relationship to The Mirror, saying they are ‘100%’ not dating.
Speaking at the Pride Of Britain Awards earlier this year, he added: ‘Amber’s a friend. It’s gonna stay that way.’
He also opened up about his split from India Reynolds, saying: ‘Break ups are never easy. They’re never easy for anyone.’
Never truer words spoken!
‘However many billions of us there are in the world, all of us go through breakups,’ he added.
‘I’ve always wished her the best.’
What a gent.
Ovie and India were finalists on this year’s series of the hit ITV dating show – which Amber, of course, went on to win with her partner Greg O’Shea.
However, news emerged of Amber and Greg’s split, due to busy schedules, five weeks later. Ovie and India split in October after four months together.
