Speaking to Collider, Duncan spoke specifically about the scene involving Murtagh’s recently killed body being held by Jamie.
On whether he struggled to keep his emotions in check during the scene, he told the publication: “Yeah, you could feel the strength of the performance going on around you, and I was fine.”
However one moment did get him, as he noted one instance on-screen later left him feeling a little touched.
The scene in question sees Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) grabbing Murtagh, and wailing at the loss of her friend, and family member.
