One of these charcoal masks sells every 15 seconds thanks to its amazing spot-busting properties

One of these gloriously gloopy face masks sells around the world every 15 seconds. Every! 15! seconds! Can you believe! And the customers slathering it onto their skin are extremely happy about it, if online reviews are anything to go by.

The Body Shop’s Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask has been heralded as the ‘holy grail’ of face masks by a woman who also said she’s recommended it to all her family, friends and co-workers. As the Daily Mail reports, 96 per cent of all reviewers say they would do the same – and tell a friend to use it.

Even better news: It’s just £17 for a 75ml pot.

This face mask promises to give you clearer, smoother skin with its lush purifying properties. It’s 100% vegan, made with bamboo charcoal sourced from the Himalayan foothills, green tea leaves from Japan and organic, fair trade tea tree oil from Kenya. The granules exfoliate the skin while the oil draws out impurities and refines the pores. Beauty fans have been celebrating fewer pimples, a clean-feeling complexion and a bit of an extra glow since they started using it regularly.

People are praising Body Shop for their hugely popular product on Instagram. Here’s a surprisingly mesmerising video of someone sticking their finger right into the goop. It’s basically ASMR.

Inexplicably but importantly, here’s a video of two cartoon raccoons stirring a little pot of the charcoal face mask.

Here’s one woman in an adorable headband, trying it out. She’s “absolutely loving it”.

And here’s another who’s raving about it: “one of my favourite masks!”

Did we mention that one sells every 15 seconds??
