There have been calls from some United fans for Solskjaer to be sacked, however, because of the club’s poor start to the season.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has already been sacked and replaced with Mourinho, who returns to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening when Spurs take on United.
But Solskjaer isn’t concerned that his head will be next on the chopping block.
“It’s that time of year. It’s never nice to see your colleagues lose their jobs – now three in a very short space of time,” added Solskjaer.
