OGN to Produce $210K Summoners War Championships 2019

Com2uS has partnered with South Korean production company OGN Database-Link-e1521645463907 to produce the Summoners War Database-Link-e1521645463907 Championships 2019. The tournament will begin play this month ahead of regional championships and a Paris finals in October.

The third-annual championships for the competitive mobile role-playing game will begin online preliminary rounds on July 13, with group stages in late July and early August. The top players from North and South America will then compete in the Americas Cup, which will be held live at the OGN Super Arena in Los Angeles on August 31.

Additional regional cups—the Asia-Pacific Cup and Europe Cup—will take place after the Americas Cup, and finalize the eight total competitors for the Summoners War Championships 2019 World Finals. The World Finals will take place at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris on October 26. The entire season has a prize pool of $210K, up from last season’s $110K total.
