Nursing homes group appoints former banking exec as first head of marketing

Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group has appointed Julie Kennedy to head up its marketing operations.

In a newly created role, Kennedy takes responsibility for setting up the group’s marketing function to promote its six nursing homes in Scotland through a variety of media channels.

She joins from baby sling business Oscha Slings Ltd where she was head of customer, marketing and sales.

She has also worked in senior marketing roles for Tesco Bank and RBS. Kennedy’s appointment comes as part of Randolph Hill’s continuing investment in its business.

In April the company re-opened its nursing home in Gullane following an £9 million rebuilding and expansion project.

Randolph Hill Group’s managing director Peter McCormick said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Julie in this newly created role.

“She brings a high level of experience and energy to the business as we aim to further promote our quality brand across Scotland.”

Founded in 1985, Randolph Hill owns and operates six nursing homes across central and east Scotland providing residential nursing care for more than 350 residents and employing over 500 members of staff.
