‘Now I feel like an awful mum’ people say as woman shows off her bath time fun and it totally divides opinions

BATHTIME for children can be either something to dread or something they look forward to.

This mum has gone above and beyond to make sure it’s the latter. But not everyone is left feeling inspired.

Sharing a clip on TikTok, this imaginative mum confesses that she’s “a mama who loves making magical moments,” as she shares her bath time idea for daughter.

Micah dedicates her TikTok page to all things DIY,  and this time round we see her transform bath time into a whimsical water play time that includes, bubbles, floats and a lightshow to set it off.

If your child is not fond of bath time, then Micah’s idea will help to convince any rebellious toddler that bath time can be fun.

All you need to replicate the water play element of this scene are some cheap pool noodles, for just £2.99 from Amazon, sticky tape and two to three small funnels for £3.59.

The crab bubble machine featured in this mums clip can also be found on Amazon for £13.99, the star projector also £13.99, with similar floating bath toys on Temu for £7.87.

The clip gained 116.6K likes but the mum’s efforts divided opinion amongst her followers.

Some were stunned by use of toothpicks to hold the foam cuttings together and immediately posted the shock emoji reaction to display their safety concerns.

Others were left feeling the pangs of mum guilt, whilst others were completely in awe of her invention.

One crestfallen commenter said: “Now I feel like an awful mum.”

While another admitted: “My mum washed me in the kitchen sink.”

“They will never want to get out that tub,” said another.

But not all the feedback was negative.

Some commenters were left inspired saying: “How cute and affordable. I’m going to try this.”

Another chimed in saying: “I wish you were my mama.”
