Neymar, 27, remains sidelined with a foot injury he suffered against Guingamp in January, which ruled him out of the Champions League tie against the Red Devils.

But the Brazil forward turned up at the Dragao Stadium to cheer on his team-mates facing Panama in a build-up to this year’s Copa America.

The PSG star went for a casual attire, donning a white Balenciaga t-shirt and black trousers.

But he got visibly emotional when the Brazilian national anthem was being played, putting his hand to his heart while singing its lyrics.

AC Milan forward Lucas Paqueta, 21, gave Brazil a lead in the first half, scoring his premiere goal for the Samba Boys.

But veteran Adolfo Machado, 34, cancelled out his effort just four minutes after.

Nevertheless, Neymar was seen smiling alongside his friends during the game – despite being charged by Uefa on Friday for his X-rated Instagram rant at referees after PSG lost to United 3-1 at Parc des Princes.

The forward was fuming after the officials used VAR to award the Red Devils a controversial, late penalty for Presnel Kimpembe’s handball.

Marcus Rashford then converted from the spot to knock the Parisians out of the competition.

Neymar’s messages read: “This is a disgrace.

“They put 4 people that know nothing about football in charge of looking at the replay for VAR. There is no penalty.

“How can it be a handball when it hits his back! Go f**k yourselves!”

Uefa have charged Neymar for “insulting/molesting acts” and he could now be facing a three-match ban.
