Neymar thinks Barcelona WILL sign him from PSG with Dembele and Coutinho involved

Neymar is wanted back at Barcelona this transfer window, with the Catalan giants prepared to forgive the PSG star for leaving two years ago.

Back in 2017, the Brazil international opted to leave the Nou Camp after growing frustrated with being stuck in Lionel Messi’s shadow.

Neymar has been unhappy at Ligue 1 giants PSG ever since his arrival and is now pressing to return to Barcelona this summer.

The La Liga giants are also understood to be pursuing Atletico Madrid hitman Antoine Griezmann but would, ideally, like to sign both players.

And Catalan newspaper Sport say Neymar is convinced he will be a Barcelona player by the time the transfer window shuts.

The Brazilian supposedly is confident that he will get his wish with Ousmane Dembele AND Philippe Coutinho heading in the opposite direction.

Sport say Neymar’s family are already preparing to make the jump back to the city where they lived for four years between 2013 and 2017.

His mother, Nadine Goncalves, has already reportedly flown to Catalonia to accelerate ‘logistical’ issues about a change of address.

Neymar’s family have been house-hunting in the city, and the PSG star would like to move back to Pedralbes, a neighbourhood he loves.

It is said he even recommended Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo move to the area when hr touched down 12 months ago.

Whether Barcelona are able to thrash out an agreement with PSG, though, is something that time will tell.

Meanwhile, Barca vice-president Jordi Cardoner has claimed that Neymar is indeed desperate to return.

But he insisted there has been no contact with the 27-year-old.

“What [I believe] is that Neymar wants to come back,” Cardoner said.

“[But] to say we are working on recruiting him, that is something I cannot agree with.”

He added: “It is likely that Neymar wants to return to Barca.

“We are recruiting no-one at the moment, especially not this player with whom we have had no contact.”

Neymar was a big hit at Barcelona during his four years at the club.

During that time he won two La Liga titles and also starred as they claimed the Champions League in 2015, scoring in the final victory over Juventus.
