The 10-part series will see Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti reprise their roles as Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn. As the on-screen couple begin their new life together, how will Joe’s transfixion on his new neighbour unfold? Let the games begin.

While the news of a third season has undoubtedly brightened your day, the downside is you’ve got to wait until 2021. Sigh.

Penn Badgley, who plays Joe, had previously hinted a third season was in the works. During an appearance on Entertainment Tonight, the actor appeared to let the news slip when he spoke about his on-screen girlfriend, Love. “She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of person, she doesn’t appear to be the same kind of predator,” he said “Dare I say, I think in the third season,” he continued, before clocking his error. “Oh, God.” When probed for more details, he said: “I mean, technically I can’t…I mean, like, unofficially. But I’m not the person who can say anything official.”

The countdown is officially on.

Here is everything else to binge-watch on Netflix in the meantime.
