Neighbours ‘ Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) is currently being investigating for murdering her ex Finn Kelly (Rob Mills).

Fans know that Finn died after accidentally drowning in a grave that he dug for Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) and Elly was caught by the police trying to bury him as she wanted to make sure he was dead.

As Elly worries about what will happen to her baby daughter Aster, could there be a twist ahead as Shaun Watkins returns from the dead to help her?

Shaun is the father of baby Aster, and was seemingly killed in a tragic accident off-screen while Elly was pregnant.

Elly is terrified that she is going to be sent to prison for killing Finn Kelly

Fans have been speculating that Shaun could be set to come back from the dead to help save the day, and Jodi has responded to the prediction.

Speaking to Daily Star Online, Jodi teased there could be another twist coming around the corner.

When asked if there is a chance Shaun could return to Erinsborough, she coyly said: “That’s an interesting idea.

Jodi has hinted that Shaun could return from the dead in a shock twist

“Obviously I can’t say too much and whether he is dead or not, but I like the thinking.

“I think that’s a great way to think, and I will leave it there, we’ll have to wait and see.”

Could Shaun be set to come back to take baby Aster while Elly is in prison?

Fans previously posted on social media: “Anyone else think that Shaun isn’t really dead, and will surprise us all with a return once the baby is born?”

Could Elly and Shaun be reunited now they have a child together?

Another added: “Shaun will return at a dreadful time for dramatic effect. Probably return just as Elly is reuniting with either Finn or Chloe.”

Looks like fans will just have to wait and see…
