My Chemical Romance could be playing Coachella 2020 and we already know it’s going to be magnificent.

Welcome to the Black Parade, everyone, for MCR have returned to be the saviour of the broken and the damned.

Well, the saviour of all nostalgiac former emos.

According to Consequence of Sound, the Helena singers will be marching their way into the Californian desert to give us set we’ve always wanted.

Along with MCR, other rumoured (and hopefully true) acts include Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Thom Yorke, Lana Del Rey and Flume.

Is this all too good to be true?

Rage Against The Machine have already been confirmed so the thought of two bands rocking out at the famously celeb-filled pit that is Coachella brings joy to our cold hearts.

The line-up is expected to drop early in the new year, and we’re ready for it.

Meanwhile, My Chemical Romance fans were left crying off their eyeliner after the band performed their first-ever show since 2012 on 20 December.

The much-loved group kicked off their reunion tour at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

MCR opened with a fiery version of I’m Not Okay (I Promise) and we don’t think anyone was okay after that.

Lead singer Gerard Way yelled out to the crowd: ‘It’s been a long time, motherf***ers!’

‘We didn’t know if this was ever going to happen again so we appreciate you showing up.’

Despite not being on stage as a band for six years, the Teenagers singer eased back into performing for his die-hard fans with ease.

The band dedicated the show to their late manager and friend Lauren Valencia and rocked through old favourites Thank You for the Venom, Give ‘Em Hell, Kid, House of Wolves, and Summertime.

And it seems as though things got all too emotional for the OG fanbase who took to Twitter in tears at the gig.

‘So…I just heard welcome to the black parade in the #MyChemicalRomanceReturn’s concert and started crying,’ one wrote while another added: ‘Y’all I’m not even kidding I’m literally crying we’re not even an hour through the concert.’
