Music tour cancelled coronavirus: Which gigs are cancelled over COVID-19? Billie Eilish?

There have been a huge number of tours cancelled or postponed thanks to the coronavirus. COVID-19 has been a real blow to fans all over the world, with some musicians yet to announce their new dates. So which artists have had to postpone their gigs?

The most recent band to announce their tour cancellation is Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, who are yet to announce the new dates.

However, the trends were originally set by Stormzy, who was one of the first singers to postpone part of his tour.

The rapper postponed the Asian leg of his world tour, which was followed by Green Day and Korean band BTS.

Green Day postponed their East Asian tour, as did BTS, but Pearl Jam were the first band to postpone music outside of Asia.

They postponed their North American tour and it soon became clear there were few places where the coronavirus was not present.

More and more bands – and even music festivals and events – have cancelled their tours.

Here is a list of bands who have cancelled tours.

Stormzy

Green Day

BTS

Pearl Jam

Carlos Santana

Sturgill Simpson

Of course, there are far more bands who are forcing to cancel or postpone their tours, as well as music festivals and charity fundraisers.

While some bands have postponed their tours, some have chosen to cancel, such as Avril Lavigne, though it is unclear whether these will be rescheduled after the worst of the coronavirus is over.
