A MUM made her little girl a magical bed with a toy kitchen and bookcase underneath as she tried to make the most of a ‘tiny’ room.
The mum-of-three revealed she had to turn an old bathroom into a bedroom for her youngest, and tried to maximise space.
Luckily her four-year-old is pretty tiny herself, so she said the space worked perfectly for her.
To get the most out of the room, the crafty mum made her daughter a bunk bed from scratch, with a beautiful tree design doubling up as a safety barrier.
Underneath it she created a cosy den with a toy kitchen, a bookcase and a beanbag.
The mum bought bargains from eBay, including the cloud mobile for £5.47, a beanbag chair for £19.99.
She added in cushions and fairy lights and bunting to make the room cosy, and people are loving her handiwork.
Sharing snaps of her magical room to Facebook group Extreme Budget DIY & Life Hacks, she said: “My little girls room was a bathroom.
“It’s absolutely tiny and there was just no space so I made her a bed. She has her kitchen etc underneath.
“I also made a book shelf underneath too.
“Just shows how you CAN create something from a tiny space when you have to!!
“The ladder hangs on the right when not in use.
“The tree was actually my idea for a safety barrier.”
She revealed her daughter had been in the room since she was three-and-a-half, and despite working hard on it she was worried about the size.
She added: “At the moment though the space is “enough”… and it’s her little space and she loves it..
“I’ve never met anyone else whose child has a bedroom this small though…. it does make me feel guilty.”
Despite her reservations fellow mums have praised the room, claiming she’s made the most out of a small space.
Commenting on her post, which has racked up more than 700 likes, one person said: “Omg….. not only is this super clever for the tiny space…..but it’s absolutely beautiful!!!!!”
Someone else wrote: “ Omg! That is the cutest bed ever! You are so creative. Well done.”
A third thought: “Gosh it is tiny! Looks lovely, you’ve made good use of the space.”
Someone else added: “This is soooo cute! I’d be absolutely made up if I was your little girl!”
While this mum added: “This is great. Many of us don’t have this kind of talent and other things needed for projects like this.”
And this mum made a mini-bed for her toddler to try and maximise every inch of space.
Meanwhile this mum turned a crawl space into an incredible two-storey playhouse using Ikea bargains.
While this mum transformed her husband’s tool cupboard into a beauty station for her three daughters using eBay finds.
