Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Cody Simpson were all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning as they stepped out for a coffee date.
Starting off their Sunday on a high, the smitten couple were spotted leaving Blue Bottle in Studio City, California earlier, each carrying coffee in their hands.
Clearly these two love a good morning meeting as the day before, they were spotted enjoying breakfast at Aeirloom Bakery with Miley’s mum Tish Cyrus.
Who knew they were such early birds.
The lovebirds seemed to be in chirpy spirits as they chatted excitedly while walking back to their car.
It comes after Miley’s ex-husband Liam Hemsworth went public with his new romance with Dynasty actress Maddison Brown on Thursday.
The pair were pretty free with their affection towards one another, with Liam burying his face in Maddison’s chest as she pulled him in. At one point, they appeared to share a kiss while Liam rested his hand on the actress’ butt.
Hours before the big night out, the Australian couple had been pictured holding hands for the first time.
It seems both Liam and Miley have happily moved onto other people since announcing their shock split in August after just seven months of marriage.
But in an interview with People, her new boyfriend Cody made a playful dig towards the Hunger Games star saying Miley overlooked him because she was ‘happy with another Australian’ instead.
Cody later opened up about his relationship with Miley to People, stating: ‘The reason why it hasn’t been a really crazy sudden thing is just because we’ve been friends for so long.
‘[We’ve] found each other again in a space where we’re both not partying, working real hard, and it just keeps things healthy and it’s good.’
The Australian singer – and now swimmer – earned himself boyfriend brownie points recently after being on-hand to care for Miley while she was in hospital for a throat infection.
Not only was he a regular fixture at her bedside, but Cody even serenaded the popstar with his guitar and a romantic song.
