Video games have been a big part of NBA culture from games like NBA2K20, FIFA, and the always popular Fortnite. Players like to play it during free time on the road or just relaxing at home and popping in a game to ease their mind from a stressful NBA season.
For the Philadelphia 76ers, their two stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons play a lot of video games with Simmons claiming he can beat anybody in a game. He even says he can take down Embiid in his favorite game, FIFA.
Veteran Mike Scott also partakes in video games claiming that FIFA is also his favorite.
“I do game a lot,” he said. “Right now, I play a lot of FIFA. I’m a big soccer fan. Fortnite, Call of Duty, I like one player games and story mode.”
When he heard that Embiid’s favorite is FIFA, he said he has to see what that is all about.
“I heard Jo is pretty good at FIFA so I’m going to have to see him this year,” he added. “I’m going to have to see that.”
As far as Simmons is concerned, Scott says he’s pretty good at Fortnite, so Simmons will have his work cut out for him.
“In Fortnite? I don’t know, I’ll have to see about that,” he said. “I’m pretty good so we’ll see.”
