Mia Farrow’s daughter Quincy has been rushed to hospital with coronavirus.
The Rosemary’s Baby actress confirmed the news on Twitter, urging her fans to ‘pray’ for the 26-year-old’s quick recovery.
‘A personal request. If you would be so kind, would you please send up a prayer for my daughter Quincy,’ she wrote.
‘Today she had no alternative but to go the hospital for help in her struggle against the coronavirus.’
Fans quickly flooded the post with messages and well wishes for Mia, 75, and her family.
‘Prayers of Healing to Comfort and Blessings,’ one commented. while another replied: ‘Praying for her speedy recovery.’
‘Sending love and light to Quincy,’ a follower posted.
And a Twitter user added: ‘Get well soon my prayers are with your daughter.’
Quincy is the youngest of Mia’s children, with the actress adopting her back in 1994.
Mia has been vocal in her criticism of President Donald Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic on social media.
In a string of posts shared just hours before her daughter’s hospital visit, she said: ‘#WhiteHouseBriefing is dangerous garbage. The drug he continues to push has not proven to be effective for coronavirus.
‘We do NOT have adequate testing and until everyone can be tested, nobody should be sent back to work.’
Covid-19 has infected more than one million people around the world, with the death toll in the US soaring past 12,000 earlier this week and 400,000 confirmed cases.
The UK’s coronavirus death toll has jumped to at least 8,958, with 980 people dying in the last 24 hours.
